IBA E-News 1-22-21 STATE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS Indiana General Assembly Hits Pause on Legislative Session The second week of the 2021 legislative session ended with an announcement from Gov. Eric Holcomb that, out of an abundance of caution, the state government complex would be closed to the public Tuesday and Wednesday this week due to recent national events, threats to other state capitols and COVID-19 restrictions. IBA E-News 1-15-21 STATE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS General Assembly Picks up Pace in Second Week The 2021 General Assembly officially commenced last week and has increased its pace of policy work through this second week of session. A significant number of committees met this week to hear, amend and vote on various bills ranging in subject matter. IBA E-News 1-8-21 STATE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS Indiana Board for Depositories Amends Collateral Rules Last month the Indiana Board for Depositories met to amend the rules governing the current collateral requirements. Of significance was the adoption of the new rating system operated by FedFis and subsequent metrics for pledging requirements using the new systems rating structure.
