The Future Leadership Division (FLD) is a platform to support the next generation of Indiana bankers. Its mission is to connect banking professionals within the IBA membership by providing education, networking and volunteer opportunities in order to develop and inspire leaders that will advocate and sustain the future of Indiana’s banking industry.
The IBA's high school apprenticeship program, the Financial Services Academy and its partners at the Indiana Career Apprenticeship Pathway are dedicated to a new path forward. FSA works alongside the traditional high school-to-college pathway to offer a new way for students to gain the skills they need to build a rewarding career.
Indiana’s banking community and educational institutions are working together to produce strong leaders for our banking industry and our state. BankLEAD provides students with the opportunity to gain real world experience in settings outside of the classroom while banks benefit from fresh ideas and creative ways for recruiting a new generation of banking talent.
For those seeking a career in banking, post your resume and search for jobs at BankTalentHQ. This comprehensive job board interfaces with social media outlets - including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter – to keep candidates informed of positions available in banking, while providing enhanced marketing for employers to attract candidates outside of the industry to a career in banking.
As part of the IBA's commitment to engage the next generation of Indiana bankers, we've begun a video series entitled "Next-Gen Bankers" that spotlight bankers discussing topics like careers in banking, their experience in the industry, why banks need young people and more.
