IBA COVID-19 Updates 6-30-20 COVID-19 UPDATES Indiana Banks Help Process Nearly $10 Billion in PPP Loans The Small Business Administration has released updated PPP loan statistics as of June 27. Nationwide, 4,798,187 loans have been processed by 5,458 lenders, totaling $518,855,402,128 in net dollars. In the Hoosier state, Indiana banks have assisted in processing 77,872 loans to small businesses for a total of $9,457,392,872 in net dollars. IBA E-News 6-26-20 COVID-19 UPDATES / GOVERNMENT RELATIONS SBA Updates PPP Guidance on Maturity Dates, Fishing Boats The SBA updated its frequently asked questions on the Paycheck Protection Program with guidance on maturity dates. The latest FAQ notes that PPP loans that received an SBA loan number on or after June 5, 2020, have a five-year maturity. Loans that received an SBA loan number before that have a two-year maturity, unless the borrower and lender mutually agree to extend the term of the loan to five years.
