Laurie A. Rees is responsible for planning, designing and implementing educational offerings of the Indiana Bankers Association, including schools, conferences, seminars, executive-level forums and webinars. She joined the Association in 1991.
Rees also is responsible for planning and managing the Banking on Women Conference; the Cyber, Fraud & Physical Security Conference; Advanced Agricultural Bankers Conference, Midwest Agricultural Banking School and Agricultural Clinic; and the acclaimed IBA Leadership Development Program. Additionally, she serves as primary contact for the IBA's Banking on Women, Agricultural, Bank Security and Cyber Security committees and is the IBA’s liaison for the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin and a member of the GSB Education Directors Advisory Group.
Rees has been active with Meeting Professionals International and with the Indiana Society of Association Executives, which honored her as Association Professional of the Year in 2009.
