Shane R. Pilarski serves as president & CEO of Alliance Bank, Francesville. She started with the bank in 2002 as a loan clerk after time teaching upper-level mathematics at the high school level. She worked her way up through positions including credit analyst, internal accountant, controller and CFO, before being named to her current position in 2017.
Active in her community, Pilarski serves on the boards of the Community Foundation of Pulaski County, Pulaski County Purdue Extension and Francesville’s Uptown Project - a Main Street Organization. She also volunteers as financial secretary for the First Christian Church of Francesville and as a youth educator with Junior Achievement of Pulaski County. At the industry level, she contributes on the Federal Reserve Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council, ICBA's Education Committee, IBA Group Insurance Trustee and the Northwest Indiana Regional Growth Fund.
A graduate of Purdue University and the Barret Graduate School of Banking, Pilarski credits her strong work ethic and can-do spirit stem to her upbringing on a fourth-generation family farm in Newton County.
