Jul 11, 2022 to Jul 13, 2022
The IBA Annual Washington Trip affords bankers the opportunity to talk with legislators and regulators about the successes and concerns of Indiana's banking industry. These officials need to hear your ideas firsthand in order to produce workable laws and regulations. This is your chance to tell policymakers face-to-face why the regulatory burden imposed on banks is too heavy and to make suggestions for modifications to burdensome rules. Bankers who have attended past Washington Visits were able to solve problems and raise issues of concern to policymakers individually. The trip is planned for maximum contact and productivity.
Be sure to join us on the evening of July 11 for a special group experience at the International Spy Museum. Attendees will enjoy dinner in a private room with an amazing view of Washington, plus have the opportunity for after-hours access to the spectacular museum exhibits.

Because we think all Indiana bankers should attend the IBA Annual Washington Trip, there is no registration fee for members. We ask attendees to pay their own travel costs (flight and hotel), and the Indiana Bankers Association and associate member sponsors will pay for all group meals.
Attire:
Business casual or casual attire is appropriate for the group dinner event on Monday, July 11. Business attire should be worn all day on Tuesday, July 12, as well as during the day on Wednesday, July 13, for meetings with the legislators.
