Welcome to the world of IRAs. To be honest, these retirement accounts can be one of the most challenging products offered by the financial institution. There are so many rules to follow, and they constantly change. How can we keep up?

In this session, you will gain a strong foothold by learning the basics of Individual Retirement Accounts. It will include a short review of the most common terminology, and which forms are “required by law” to give to our customers and also retain in the financial institution’s records.

We will then discuss the qualifications for each type of retirement products, including the Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, Conversion Roth IRA, and SEP IRA. The purpose of this session is to build your comfort level with IRAs. It is also a great refresher for those with more experience.

With over 40 years of experience in the financial industry, Patrice has focused her expertise on the retirement account area. She has a B.S. in Management Science from New York’s Binghamton University and previously held her Certified Financial Planner designation for 23 years.
