Welcome to the world of IRAs. In truth, these retirement accounts can be one of the most challenging products offered. It seems like there are so many rules to follow - and they constantly change. How can we keep up?
In part 1 of this 4 part series, you will gain a strong foothold by learning the basics of Individual Retirement Accounts. It will include a short review of the most common terminology and which forms are “required by law” to give to our customers and also retain in the financial institution’s records.
We will then discuss the qualifications for each type of retirement products, including the Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, Conversion Roth IRA, and SEP IRA. The purpose of this session is to build your comfort level with IRAs. It is also a great refresher for those with more experience.
