This session introduces the RTP® Network from the ground up, explaining how it works, who participates, and the core use cases driving adoption. We’ll cover the rules and operating framework set by The Clearing House, including participation models, messaging standards, and compliance obligations. Attendees will also learn about exception handling, fraud and risk monitoring, and how RTP®’s rules differ from traditional payment rails. The session concludes with an update on the RTP® Network’s adoption status and a forward-looking view of future enhancements and opportunities for financial institutions.

Among his many certifications, Kevin is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), an Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), an NCP (National Check Payments Certification) as well as an NCP Certified Trainer and a Certified High-Performance Coach (CHPC), and holds a masters in industrial organizational psychology from Liberty University.
