Mega Conference Speaking Proposals 2025

The Indiana Bankers Association is seeking speaking proposals for the 2025 Mega Conference.

Scheduled for May 27-29, 2025 at the Indiana Convention Center, the Mega Conference will continue its role as our preeminent educational event. This conference typically attracts more than 1,250 participants with 50 sessions, an exhibit hall and several social activities.

Sessions should be of an informational/educational nature. We are especially interested in takeaways. What will attendees walk away with from your presentation? Content of a self-promotional or competitive nature should be strictly avoided. Specific, narrow topics are usually of more benefit than are broad, general topics. Please consider involving Indiana bankers as panelists in your presentation to talk about practical applications or best practices.

All proposals will be reviewed by the conference planning committees and selection will be made based upon perceived interest in the topic, speaker credentials and budget constraints. Proposals will be accepted through Wednesday, October 30th.  Planning committees will meet in November and December and it is my goal to have all sessions confirmed by mid February.

Please do not submit proposals via email. There is an option for uploading documents if you have multiple proposals, and only proposals submitted through this online form will be considered.

There are two options for submitting proposals. If you have multiple proposals, you may find it easier create one document (Word or PDF) that contains all the information about your proposals and upload it below.

The document you upload needs to include the following:

• Session title and brief description
• Key Learning Objectives
• Optimal Session Length (30, 45 or 60 minutes)
• Proposed Mega Track
• Proposed speaker for each topic
• Financial Requirements
• Speaking Reference  - (include event name, event date, contact name and email (if the proposed speaker hasn't spoken at previous IBA event)
• Contact name and email

Please indicate the optimal session length for your proposed topic. The majority of sessions at the conference are 60 minutes, but we are adding some sessions of varying lengths to this year's event. If you want to give more information on your suggested length, please use the comment box at the end of the form.
Please be selective about which tracks are legitimately appropriate for your proposed topic.
This RFP is primarily for the Mega Conference, but we will also be planning for the Future Leaders Conference and the Annual Convention later this year. I'm interested if you think your topic would be relevant to either of these audiences.
If you haven't previously spoken at an IBA event, please list one speaking reference from the financial services industry.
